ADMISSIONS PROCESS & ELIGIBILITY

ADMISSION PROCEDURE

Admissions for the new academic year begin in September each year and continue based on availability of seats. Parents are encouraged to apply early to secure admission.

Step 1: Online Registration

Visit our official website: www.kovaividyamandhir.com
Navigate to the “Admissions” section and fill out the online registration form.
Submit basic student and parent details.
An acknowledgment email will be sent upon successful submission.

Step 2: Document Submission (Offline)

Once registered online, parents must submit the following original documents at the school office:

Copy of Birth Certificate (mandatory for Pre-KG to Grade I)

Community Certificate (if applicable)
Transfer Certificate from previous school (for Grade II and above)
Two recent passport-size photographs of the child (6x4 cm)
Copy of the Aadhar card (if available)

Step 3: Interaction / Assessment

For Pre-KG to Grade I: Informal child–parent interaction with the teacher or school head.
For Grade II to Grade V: Short academic assessment in core subjects to understand learning levels.

Step 4: Confirmation of Admission

Selected candidates will receive an admission confirmation via phone/email.
Parents must pay the first term fee to confirm the seat.

AGE ELIGIBILITY GUIDELINES

To ensure developmental readiness, the following age criteria must be met as on April 15 of the admission year.

Grade	Age Requirement
Pre-KG	2 years and 6 months
LKG	3 years and above
UKG	4 years and above
Grade I	5 years and above

ADMISSION POLICY

Admissions are based on seat availability and fulfillment of eligibility criteria.
The school practices non-discrimination on the basis of caste, religion, or background.
Priority is given to siblings of existing students, children of alumni, and staff referrals.
Special consideration is given to students who demonstrate outstanding talent or leadership traits.

TRANSFER CERTIFICATE GUIDELINES

To obtain a Transfer Certificate:

Parents must submit a written application to the Principal using the prescribed formatbefore 28th February.
A minimum one-month notice is required.
All dues must be cleared before issuing the T.C.

Note:

If a student is withdrawn after the academic year begins, full annual fees must be paid.
In case of withdrawal after February or immediate requirement of T.C., 50% of annual fees will be retained by the school.
Fees once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.
